10:57 pm [romanglass]	great thread on Savoy Central! Some creative fans have started a discussion thread on Savoy Central that you gotta see! They planned ahead to be online at the same time, and listened to each of the Savoy albums in order, commenting on each of the tracks as they came along. I've never seen this done before, and had a really hard time following it ;-) You have to see it to understand, so without further ado: http://forums.savoycentral.com/viewtopic.php?t=192 370 posts and 1550 views can't be wrong! 10:58 pm [romanglass]	some updates on Savoy The Spellmannprisen awards were given out tonight, and unfortunately Savoy didn't win :-\ However! There is more information about the song Lauren contributed vocals for on Anneli Drecker's new album. The song is called 'Monkey Trap,' and the album will be released on March 4. Jakob Sekse is the webmaster, and it is obvious that he spends time keeping the site graphically interesting, and responds to visitor suggestions. There is a quirky and interesting concept behind the layout, plus the webmaster is a devoted Savoy fan :-) The 1st Paul Waaktaar-Savoy site You can also find a very nice news archive, by date, and links to some online interviews. 12:45 pm [romanglass]	Savoy nominated for a Spellemannprisen award As you might have seen on Savoy Central, Savoy are nominated for Best Pop Group this year. I found a really interesting thread on an a-ha fan forum, a-ha for the serious-minded which includes all the nominees and some other good discussion about the awards. Go check it out! 10:53 pm [romanglass]	Lauren contributes to Anneli Drecker's new album (thanks to Jakob Sekse for the information) "Anneli Drecker confirms on her official website that Lauren will provide some vocals on Anneli`s second solo album, to be released this spring. Lauren also contributed on Anneli`s first solo album 'Tundra,' which was released in 2000." She has also contributed backing vocals for a-ha on the Lifelines tour in 2002, and participated as a judge on the Norwegian Idol show. If you haven't heard her stuff, check her out! It was created back in 1998 or so, and had some biographical information about Lauren I haven't seen anywhere else, plus some good pictures of her on stage.
